  1. Reading your post made me cry... I stopped dairy the first of May and I will never have it again. I became vegetarian for the environment but now I'm vegan for the animals. Trying to get my whole family to follow my foot steps.
  2. I don't have much planned for mothers day,I have a good relationship with my mother ,well actually with my two mothers ( I was adopted when I was 3 weeks old and I met my birth mother last year).My children usually give me a card as I do for my Mom. We don't celebrate much, I find that all the "days" mothers,fathers, valentine etc. are only there to make us spend money I rather be nice with everybody, everyday.
  3. I have arthritis since I was a little girl.My left eye is blind since I am 4 y/o due to the arthritis. I just started this new way of eating and it take's a little time to get ajusted I guess but I will see if it make's a difference ( I'm sure it will) I stopped all my meds in January and I stopped meat in feb, I am now stopping dairy. I hope I will never have to take meds again.
  4. I was also addicted for years (12 years of drinking 2 liters of diet pepsi a day) One month ago I decided to stop because of the aspartame. I stopped cold turkey now I only drink water,green tea and coffee . It was hard but now I don't crave it at all and I had a sip of 7/up the other day and I didn't like it (too sweet) So now I'm soft drink free and very happy about it!

  6. Why think about gluten ? I don't understand Eat less? I am very new to to vegeterian life . Is Gluten bad for you?
