  1. Oh thanks for the links and suggestions. Yeah, I am getting sick of my pea protein/rice mix. it'd be great to hide some scoops in other foods. I hope more people post! The only thing I've done is put it in oatmeal, but for me, oatmeal is already so dense that this makes it really filling and hard to finish for me personally.
  2. If you have other quick protein snack ideas that'd be rad too. I am getting bored of having my shakes all the time. -hn-
  3. Hey Everyone, I'm wondering if anyone has a good recipe for protein pancakes that is vegan. I am trying to find a way to disguise my protein powder in other foods (so other recommendations are also highly appreciated). This is a "recipe" I have seen for non-vegan protein pancakes, but it isn't clear to me how to veganize it: Protein pancakes- Cottage cheese (if able to do dairy), egg white, protein powder, some sweetner and cinnamon, blend together and cook like a pancake. What do you guys think? Thanks for the help! -hn-
  4. Hey Everyone, I'm new to the site, not so new to lifting, and not new to veganism. I've begun a new building program and I'm wondering what to do with my eating. My overall goals are to build muscle, but also lean out. Right now I'm about 5'11" and about 150 pounds. If I had to wager a guess I guess I'd be about 18% body fat (though this is about a year or two old...) I'm lifting three times a week (a light day, a heavy day, and a medium day) I usually follow the lifts with 20-30 minutes of low HR cardio. Two other days are HIIT cardio days. Two days are off. What I'm wondering is, how many calories a day should I aim to eat? Right now I'm trying to get about 150g of protein (though most days is about 130g). I'm eating between 1800-2200 calories. Some days going out to eat bumps it up some. But I think I could stick to a stricter plan if I knew what I was aiming for. Hopefully there isn't already another thread on this! Can some of the women out there share what they eat on a typical day? And offer any suggestions??
  5. Hey Everyone, I just recently started using the Gemma Pea Protein from True-Protein.com, and I was wondering what percentages/mixes other people like. I was thinking I would want to mix Pea and Hemp (which I used to use, but is expensive on its own). I'd be into mixing Pea, Hemp and Rice. Does anyone have a mix they like? Also, which flavors/sweetening do you guys add? (if any)
