  1. Wow. Those are awesome results. I just started day 1 of P90x today. Did the chest and back workout as well as ab ripper x.
  2. I took some new pictures today after my back workout with a bit of abs at the end. There have been a few weeks in the last couple months where I only worked out 3 or 4 days. I've tried to keep it at 5 days a week though. I've only been doing one muscle a day though. I also haven't been eating as good as I could be. I've still made some progress though. 3. Nice job. Also, I bought the same shirt as the one you are wearing in your picture last night at the Propagandhi show in Detroit.
  4. Thanks for the comments guys. I'm switching up my workout quite a bit this week and am gonna try to start eating better than I have been in the last couple months. I'll try to get some pictures of legs up this weekend. I am now working my legs out super hard. When I do leg workouts it hurts to walk for a couple days afterward. haha I didn't start doing this until probably March. My calves are still super small though. But ya. I'll try to get pictures up this weekend or something.
  5. The first pictures were taken a little over a month and a half ago I think. Those were taken hours after I had worked out. The most recent pictures were taken today right after doing back and abs. I worked out super hard from the beginning of January til about mid April when the first pictures were taken. I've slightly slowed down since then. I was going 6 or 7 days a week. I'm now going 5 days a week. So I'm still hitting the gym pretty hard, just not as hard. I'm at my parents right now and tried to use their scanner to scan an old picture from a few years ago but couldn't get it to work. I used to be insanely skinny. 6. xphilx- I've been working out somewhat consistently for the last 3 years or so. I was pretty much just working out to maintain the shape I was in mainly. I would go through phases of working out harder than others but never got like super super into it. Just recently I decided to get more into it. I started hitting the gym hard at the end of December. Since then I've increased my max on the bench from a little less than 190 to 215. I went from weighing 155 pounds to 175 pounds. I have a basic knowledge of how to workout but I don't know everything. But about a month and a half to two months after hitting the gym hard I noticed my gains going away so I switched it up. threeloaves- I guess I'm still just trying to get big. I'll probably want to lean out at some point but I think I'm still just focused on bulking up. Jeffrw- Ok that's good to know. I think I may try that out.
  7. I'm new here and also new to pretty serious bodybuilding so I have a few questions. I've decided I'm going to completely change my workout ever 6-8 weeks. My questions about this though is during that 6-8 week period do I want my workouts to be the EXACT same every time. For example: I'll do my shoulders one day with 4 different exercises at 3 sets each. Would it be better just to do that same exact workout every time I do my shoulders for that 6-8 week period or would it be better to kind of rearrange things? Either do the workouts in a different order every time or maybe add one new exercise and not do one of them I did during the last workout. Also, I was just doing low reps for a while. Now I've kind of switched it up. I do low reps for certain things and high reps for others. Would it be better to just stick to either high reps for everything or low reps for everything or does it not really matter? Also, if anyone else has any other advice that would be cool too.
  8. How do you like Seattle? That's one of the places I'm contemplating moving to in the summer.
  9. Hey everyone. I'm new to the forums here. This is my first post. I've been vegan almost exactly a year and a half. I was vegetarian for a few years before that. I've been lifting off and on for the last 3 and a half years. I was only vegetarian when I first started. I didn't really get super into it until about 3 months ago. Since then I have gone from weighing 155 pounds to 170.5 pounds as of last weekend. My body fat is at about 5.5% according to my brother's thing that measures body fat. I'm not sure what my max is on the bench press right now. 3 years ago my max was 155. I just got back from the gym and did 155 pounds- 3 sets of 10 without a spotter. I've definitely come a long way looking back but I've still got a long way to go. haha I'll try to get some progress pictures up or something.
