  1. How many days a week do you work out?
  2. Not totally sure, to be honest, hehe. Any tips by looking at my picture, things you think I should be working on? I have been making slow gains over time since I haven't been building hardcore, I haven't been going to look huge. Just good naked, as they say in American Beauty, for lack of a better excuse, hehe. I'm still getting used to eating much during the day, I usually take 2-3 protein shakes along with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and then snacks in between. It's harder at college since I'm on a tighter budget and time schedule. What I'm really looking for is bigger arms and shoulders. But with that comes wanting to change everything else slightly, too, I am sure, hehe.
  3. Thanks a bunch. I feel strange posting since I am not of a "bodybuilder" physique, I'm quite skinny. Thanks for the replies. And I'd definitely love to talk to Topher about this kind of stuff.
  4. Hebrew for God. Hurt like heck, but I love it Any pointers would be nice - what you like and don't like.
  5. I wanted to post a picture of myself and my physique just to see if anyone had any tips for me at what I should be working at changing. I'm very interested in getting my arms and shoulders bulkier...Let me know. I'd appreciate anything Cheers, jf Sorry if the pic is big... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v91/Houdini654/IMG_0583.jpg
  6. I take the amount suggested on the can of it, which is one scoop. I'm not sure how much it is. I'll definitely try to take smaller doses. Should I still do a loading phase, just with smaller amounts? -jf
  7. I have a question about creatine...it may sound gross and I apologize, but I'm very curious. I have been using protein when I work out (I'm not a bodybuilder, but am trying to get in some good shape) for a long time and it has helped, but after reading I decided to try some creatine to see if I noticed any differences. I bought Cell-Tech creatine and the only thing I noticed after taking one scoop with water was that it gave me a stomach ache and made me have to go to the bathroom (not peeing) a bit. Is this normal? Is it because I have never used it before? Does it take some getting used to? I just don't want to use it if it is going to make me sick every time I take some. Any help would be great. Cheers, jf
  8. I bought Cell-Tech creatine along with my protein today, so we'll see how that goes Thanks for the help, any other advice would be great, too.
  9. Do you take the powder or the pills? What is the most tasty way? Last time I tried creatine I gagged a bit. Maybe I mixed it with something that was gross. Thanks
  10. Not really sure if this is the right place for this post...but we'll see. I am 21 years old, about 145 pounds and for the past few years I have been working out quite extensively, getting my skinny frame a little more toned and into a little more shape. In high school I was rail-thin, so much so that one teacher asked if I was anorexic. My question is - I want to start taking some supplements, but I'm very uneasy about the idea of creatine since, as I've heard, if I stop using it, much of the effects will wear off. The amount of the stuff I must ingest also sounds a little hard to get used to. So I'm wondering what the best supplements a guy like me could take so that I could gain some noticable differences in my body and not lose them rapidly? Sorry these pictures are atrocious and I have no excuses for either of them, hehe. I have a very self-conscious body image so these are the only pictures where I actually have a shirt off. And I'm still grossly skinny, but I wanted to give an idea of what I have to work with, hehe... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v91/Houdini654/IMG_0406.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v91/Houdini654/Photo5.jpg
