  1. Thanks for the welcomes! To answer a question above: I'm 22, and my fitness goals right now are to lose the few pounds I've gained in college....I'm finding it hard to lose weight though since I'm not actually overweight! (I made a post about it in the Women's Fitness section) and also to become stronger and increase my endurance. Thanks again everyone for making me feel welcome!
  2. Hi! I'm new to the forums. My name is Laura and I'm from NJ. I've been a vegetarian since I was 12 and am trying to make that last jump to becoming vegan, and also to better my diet/fitness routine and get in better shape. I'm a big animal lover and try my best to help homeless pets. I love nature and being outside (but not the humidity!) Looking forward to everyones advice!
  3. Hey everyone! Maybe some of you can help me... I'm 22 and not currently overweight, I just have an extra bit of weight in that "spare-tire" area (you know, around the hips) So I'd like to lose about 7-10 pounds. Although I exercise the weight just won't come off.....I'm starting to think I'm not eating a proper balance of foods. (I jog 20 mins a few times a week and do strength 20-30 mins a few times a week) Does anyone know of the calorie requirements I should be using? (I weigh about 127 and am 5'5") Or some guidlines I should follow with my diet? Or something I should change in my fitness routine? Thanks! Laura
