  1. I've been a long time fan of Robert's since the video with Brendan Brazier and Tonya Kay. Before reverting to vegetarianism, I ate a and lived as a strict vegan for 8 years. Of course, that slowly came to a halt due to a full-time design school, a full time short order cook job, and two kids that kept me too busy to bike the 4 hours a day that I had grown used to. Now I'm back in a big way trying to lose the excess 50 pounds I've grown to hate and . So I'm here to talk to those who understand my special needs as a vegan. Cheers, Chadwick
  2. They stuck me with a carnivore. I am putting in a request to switch. Anyone who would like to help?
  3. Going by your provided list: The Weakerthans, Refused, International Noise Conspiracy, Bloc Party, Death Cab For Cutie, The Shins, Bright Eyes, Cursive, Hot Water Music, Fifteen, Jawbreaker, Kevin Devine, The Format, Joe Strummer (The Clash, "-" and the Mescaleros). None of my workout music is intelligent. That is, other than Propagandhi.
  4. Awesome info guys. I have decided to go with P90X for the first 3 months and then a solid gym membership after that. Thanks for Scooby's site. It has definitely helped a bunch.
  5. The first is Geoff Rowley in Tony Hawk Pro Skater. But still, rad.
  6. Saw them live last fall (I think) with Strike Anywhere and Banner Pilot. They have been my favorite band for so long. Bought Supporting Caste but couldn't listen to it while cycling, it wore me out. Less Talk, More Rock is my jam. Best album to date.
  7. I knew I loved her for some reason.
  8. Cubed, baked and lathered in BBQ sauce.
  9. Anyone have any suggestions for a Phase One/Level Three recovery drink? I have ordered a 70/30 (Gemma/Rice) mix and am willing to try anything. So please, post all of your recipes if you have them!
  10. You should check out http://www.thefreshloaf.com. It is a terrific site with tons of great artisan bread recipes.
  11. With no gym membership or access to equipment, where do I start? I just want to get a head start until my paycheck comes around for a membership. Also, once I get said membership, how often should I workout (and what kind of diet plan/eating pattern) to get noticeable results in three months? I have both Thrive and Robert's new book but I just can't make solid sense of what all I want. I want to be fit and mildly muscular. Now that I am done rambling again, any advice?
  12. I have also spotted the westsoy at my local dollar store. A dollar is a steal.
  13. We are thinking about YWCA because it has a sliding scale and they have child care while you work out. That is a huge bonus. Melissa wants to join me and work of that baby fat in the vegan BB way as well. I showed he some profile on here and she was amazed.
  14. Buuuuuttttttt, I'm going to school in Minneapolis. Depending on the living situation, I may join your gym. Which gym are you reppin'?
