  1. Put a slow treadmill in there and you won't need anymore cardio at the gym! But seriously, I think a standing desk is a cool idea.
  2. Agree that it's an individual thing, but if I HAVE to lift, then I take lots of coffee before the workout. Otherwise, I just rest.
  3. Funny, when I see pro bodybuilder in their videos, most of the cardio they do is just walking on the treadmill.
  4. Proper rest, nutrition, form and technique is the key. Otherwise, you open yourself to injuries and illness which is really the "damage" you refer to.
  5. Using dumbbells allow more flexibility on the grip. Also, doing one-arm db rows on the bench eliminates the strain on the lower back.
  6. Don't know much of bodybuilding mags that are biased TOWARDS vegans. It's basically mainstream for chicken, eggs and steak.
  7. Swimming is a technique-oriented sport, that's why it's so difficult for many people. You simply can't power your way into the sport, unlike running or cycling, maybe.
