  1. Yes you are wrong, this is a ridicoulous question. MMA is a very technical sport, pure strength wont take you very far. Comparing to Brock Lesnar is pretty far fetched, besides having a freaky physique he also had a very solid wrestling background which allowed him to stay on top and utilize ground and pound effectively. Besides, Pudzianowski has allready tried it, even though he is probably one of the strongest and most athletic strongman competitors he havent done very good. Just because one person tired and did not succeed does not make the idea ridiculous.Give me a WSM who has trained in martial arts, or wrestling, in his childhood, and I'm sure he will be capable to hold his own in MMA. Broc Lesnar has great size and strength plus he has been trained to spear his opponent, mount them, and smash their face in. In comparison WSM has great size and strength, but the only thing one of them is missing is the training, so I see no reasons that one of them with sufficient training could dominate. Especially because the knock out power a WSM would posses. Finally, no I am not wrong in asking the question. You are wrong for being so quick to deny a possibility...just because something has not happened, does not mean its happening is impossible. Anyway, try to be more open minded and relax...life works better that way.
  2. First of all, let it be noted that I'm supposed to be studying for a test I have today, but I'm procrastinating. Anyway, the main question is if you could be any type of professional, e.g. bodybuilder, ninja warrior, MMA fighter, marathoner, world strongest man, etc. then what would you be? Also, who currently motivates you in your chosen field of athletics? Finally, do you think a world strongest man that crossed over to MMA would dominate in the heavy weight? Questions To The Point: - What type of professional athlete would you be? - Who motivates you in that particular field, and others? - Would a strong man dominate in MMA? My Answers: - I have a tie between being a professional world strongest man and a IFBB pro. - The people who motivate me in WSM are Magnus Samuelsson, Derek Poundstone, and , Mikhail Koklyaev, then in IFBB Kai Greene for his mental approach to the sport, but all the IFBB pros today are incredible in stature. - As far as a WSM dominating in MMA, I think it is definitely possible (utilizing many Donkey Kong hammer fist similar to Brock Lesner) the only issue would possibly be stamina, but I could be wrong. What do you think?
  3. Thanks for the sweet information! I actually think supplements are fine, but to completely depend on them for your nutrients is foolish. Right now I take CGT-10, Amino Acids, L-Arginine, any on sale pre-workout (or green tea), and occasionally I add a bottle of T-Bomb II. I just looked up Quinoa and seeing that made me think that I might try to add it as a breakfast meal. As far as the Kale, I might occasionally use it as a substitute for my broccoli. The only Vega I know of is from Street Fighter...Is it a supplement company, and do they have a website? Glad to see another fan. Spirited Away is still my favorite! I really like them all, but Princesse Mononoke is probably my favorite. Although, Spirited Away is the film that got me hooked. As far as I know Seitan is soy free (being it is baiscally boiled wheat gluten remains). I did some research (very limited), but I figure that with a massive intake of cruciferous vegetables any negitives from bad estrogen will mostly be eliminated. I feel like the gavel hasn't slammed down a sentence regarding the issue and that it is still undecided about the whole soy estrogen issue. Anyway, thanks for the precautionary hint.
  4. A couple reasons actually: - Time for a change and challenge. - Hoping to feel better, have more energy, and sleep better. (I figure the more natural and healthy I am, then the better my body/mind will operate). - I just recently watched a documentary called Forks Over Knifes and that simply settled the question for me. Thanks for the knowledge! Your probably right about my protein intake, but I want to initially saturate my body with nutrients and protein, then slowly modify the diet to fit my needs. I'll make sure I get lysine through my amino acids tabs. I think I'm going to definitely substitute some Tofu or Tempeh for 2 or 3 of my Seitan meals. (off topic: ghibli studios does awesome work!)
  5. The Label says: - Creatine Monohydrate 5g As far as bloating (I'm not sure how bad you get it) sometimes sacrifices have to be made.
  6. Not sure If any of this was mentioned: Supplements: - T-Bomb II (it is a natural test booster the serving size can be split or taken normally). - glucosamine chondroitin is a great supplement for help joints. - CGT made by ON (can be found in Vitamin Shopee) is a great creatine. Foods: - Adding garlic to your diet is very beneficial to GH production. - Eating a butt ton (don't eat a button) of cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, etc.) They have something called DIM (Diindolylmethane) which helps vanquish evil types of estrogen (this is good). Equipment/etc.: - Try knee wraps for squats, because squats are a huge muscle building movement. - Get a lifting partner who can spot you and is reliable (or a trainer). - If squats don't work try leg press. Bottom line: - Consistency. If you don't pound away at your task, then you'll never improve. So, keep pressing and doing your best, even on bad days do what you can. - This is just a quick start of things you can do to help yourself. Do some research on your own and figure out what works best for you.
  7. "Hi everybody!" - Dr. Nick (The Simpsons) Anyway, below is my current diet and below that is my hopeful vegetarian diet. I plan on buying 50lb bags of wheat gluten and making seitan at home. I'm not too concerned about diet variation, but I'm looking for suggestions, hints, and ideas. Also, the picture I attached is of me in my first bodybuilding competition back in 2010, I weighed 189 (I cut down from 215), and now I weigh about 232. My goal is basically to get as big and strong as possible as a vegetarian. So, please, questions, comments, and all the help your willing to give. Thanks!
