  1. 100g portions were compared. Dry lentils contain 26g of protein per 100g portion and double in weight when soaked, 13 grams of protein per 100g portion? Is the protein lost when cooked? Is there a difference between small and large lentils? How to tell if lentils are undercooked? The ingredients or the type of can? Ingredients are lentils, water, salt and ascorbic acid. What do I need to look out for?
  2. Lentils nutrition page on nutrition data states that 100g of lentils contains 9g of protein however it states 4g of protein on the canned lentils I purchased.
