  2. I have been drinking the vega milkshake and my face has come out in these hideous acne cysts, they hurt like hell and take ages to come to a head. I am allergic to kelp. I looked on the ingredients of the shake and it has kelp in it!! Typical, I spend 58.00 on a tub of this stuff and I can't use it. Anyway just wanted to let you know that if you are getting acne it could be because of a kelp allergy. Does anyone have any advice on a shake that has no kelp in it? Thanks. Karen

  5. Hey Daywalker, I have just started my training, I am pretty feeble, starting of with 5lb weights and 13lb bar for the power clean, I was going to wait until Wednesday to do my next work out. I do whole body but it only takes me about 45 minutes. Do you think I should work out every day?. I have a book called "good girls do dumbells" and I am taking the two day workout and making it a one day. What do you think? Thanks Karen

  11. Oh right!, sorry I forgot about them. No. I cannot do them, I can do hamstring curls, but the others, no. I can do the calf raise. I can do a part squat, so maybe that will help with my bum? I just cannot go down as far as the squat should go. Sorry for being such a nuisance. Karen

  13. I go to the gym. I am planning on working out 3 to 4 times a week. I am only interested in weights. I have no intention of doing any cardio.(I don;t think it helps me) I want to tone up and add some bulk to my legs and arms, I am hoping for great abs. Karen

Hi, I spoke to my Doctor and she said that I should not do any squats as she thinks they are bothering my knee, other than that and running on hard surfaces, she said that I should just make sure that I have no pain whilst doing an excersize. if I do, I should stop it. I went up the Y today and did some abs and upper body stuff but I would really like a whole plan that I can use. Please help me. karen

    Hey everyone, thanks for the warm welcome!. Daywalker, I was not raised in a vegan family, my family is a bit odd in the old eating habits though, I have a brother and a sister who eat anything and everything, another brother who lives for meat but cannot stand any dairy and another brother who eats meat and dairy but will only eat his vegetables raw!!!. my poor old Mum had her work cut out for her with us!. I have never ever liked meat or dairy. I cannot stand the simulated meat products either. My mum never forced the issue. Take care. Karen
