  1. Our library doesn't really have anything sadly. They had 2 books about the science of veganism and a couple really old cookbooks lol

  3. Thanks a bunch. I wish we could afford the training but our budget is so tight (we only make 1200 a month and that's 2 incomes!) I know that the only things vegans miss out on is b-12 and even then there are vitamins for it I wanted to yell at her for her meaty ignorance lol I'll send those links to my husband since he's the one that wants to bulk up
  4. So I recently joined a gym with my husband and everything was going fine until the trainer learned we were vegetarian. ( we're working on vegan) She told us that we wouldn't lose weight quickly or gain any muscle since we don't consume animal protein and that animal protein is best. She also told my husband that as long as he continues to eat tofu he will never gain muscle. I know that large amounts of soy isn't great ( large amounts of anything isn't) but like seriously we eat tofu like once a week. Sheesh. Anyway what can we do?
