This [Comet's above post] post really doesn't make any sense. I have trouble explaining what I mean. Not to worry I won't be posting again soon

I tried raw a while back and I'm going to try it again - either starting today or tomorrow. Does 'ligthly steamed' count as still raw - I don't know it's not like I'm totally cooking the food just warming it up a little - like the old stir fry y'know! I tried juicing but I prefer eating the entire fruit Comet

Ok now I feel guilty I've tried for both ethical reasons and for health reasons to be vegan for a while. But now I feel ashamed that I don't have the money to throw away all my furniture and clothing simply because it came from an animal - does this make me hypocritical? -
Thank you That's some great recipes there. I will share them with my valentine

I was a tenant in a house where someone kept chained dogs. He considered himself a trainer, and had pitbulls bear-dogs and such like running around outside and in the house (with children). He also had an alaskan hound I think - and the mother was kept outside. I found it cruel (and dangerous) that this had happened, but there was this time that someone gave him a dog back and he kept it chained in a metallic cage. When I saw the dog he was whimpering and depressed. Mike buzzed him with an electric collar many times. As I was unable to find another place at that time I couldn't do much about it, but am wondering if I should've reported this abuse?

Yes I'm definitely interested CrispyQ. I'm not sure if it counts as sugar, would have to look ti on the glycemic index, but I know that some wouldn't hurt! In fact I'm really excited that I could eat it Thank you

One of the main problems I'm facing is that on the above days people eat chocolate and cake. I know of Cliff and Luna bars - which are much better tasting than chocolate bars - but also more expensive. I was wondering if there is such a thing as vegan cake + chocolate, and where I would find it - I live in Virginia. Thanks

Well I've gone back and forth from veganism for the last year now. But every time I've eaten the vegan way I've been more energetic less tired, less anxious and most importantly not ill. For when it comes to eating junk again, I felt very tired, that I couldn't go to work and painfully sick to the stomache. I don't know if this could be considered "illness" but I haven't gotten sick for many years. I reckon that the vegan diet increases many things suchas the immune system, as the body isn't in a continual state of digestion...

Thanks that's a good idea I'll try that - any smoothie recipes? I like strawberries and banana mix from "organic farms" I think. I'll start juicing again I had a good time with that Thanks

Ya! I was going to say that I love putting peanut butter on celery sticks but that's already been done C

Oh I'm sorry I will put my state on the board I'm from Virginia and I am unfortunately allergic to soy. I might be going total raw soon, without any substances suchas sugar and other chemicals

I think they're one and the same. I feel good because I look good and I look good because I feel good. But choosing one over the other? Well I'm not as solid as I want to be yet so I choose "feel good"

I believe that Jesus was a vegetarian. Somewhere I read not that long ago, that people who were in Europe came to the area and they were meat eaters mainly with alcohol dependancies. That he cured them was a miracle because he is the Christ, from the Bible, but I think they had a more vegetarian diet there.
