TROUBLE WITH CALORIES!! FELLOW VEGANS HELP!

I make these high calorie bean shakes, they actually taste really good.

I mix:
1 can rinsed black beans
1 banana
2 tbsp peanut or almond butter
1/4 cup oepitas
2 tsp Spirulina
1 scoop plant fusion (chocolate)

Roughly 1000 calories & 63g protein. :) they work great for me!

Best Multivitamin

Hi Everyone,

I am on the search for the "best" Vegan Whole Food Multi-vitamin. Preferably something with a full nutritional profile from food, and some of the essential "vegan deficiencies" like ALA or L-Carnitine.

I would love to know what you guys are loving!

Thanks,
D

Re: P90X2 (My first post)

Welcome Dan! New to this forum myself, but not to P90X. I've completed a few X and X2 rounds now, all vegan, and have been super happy with the results. The flexibility available in the routine is one of the best parts of it. Right now I'm on week 5 of the Body Beast program and loving it. I've got...

Re: P90X2 (My first post)

The Holistic Health Counseling, I would really like to learn something like that! So, as a counsellor, what would you say about chlorella? I have read here and there that you shouldn't take supplements before talking to a doctor...on the other hand in thrive it is recommended and seem that some peo...

Supplements...HELP!

however, for what its worth, I dont think supplements can ever replace Quality Whole Foods, and should be treated as an enhancement.

Supplements...HELP!

i know in Robert's book he talks about BCAAs, L-Gluatmine, Creative, Meal Replacement Powder & Protein Powder being the real heavy hitters for supplements. Im sure you can get great results without them, however I find they have helped me a lot. Especially L-Glutamine, which has additionally hel...

Any good bodybuilding books?

I definitely recommend Roberts book, so does that make a fourth? Haha. however, I own and read McCauley's book and as much as I am sure some people could benefit, it wasn't overly informative and not "truly" a bodybuilding book IMHO. If you are interested about Raw foods, the Live Food Fac...

Re: P90X2 (My first post)

Thanks for your posts! I have the 80/10/10 Diet by Dr. Graham (i think that's who wrote it) on my Amazon.com wishlist. I tried doing the 100% Raw Vegan Diet a few years back, and I had difficulty with EXTREME coldness in my body. I always related that to back to an Ayurvedic diagnosis that I was mos...

Re: P90X2 (My first post)

Whoops! As you can see I cross posted this on the BeachBody.com (They make P90X) forum. Pretend the above is addressed to the VBB Forum ;)

P90X2 (My first post)

Hi All, I was very excited to find a Vegan thread here on the Beachbody Forum. I have recently (within the last few months) transitioned to a fully Vegan diet, based on Food allergies, the preference of my Digestive System (haha) and Ethics. I'd love to hear any tips people have discovered on puttin...
