Re: always hungry, need help

For me there is a direct correlation between calorie counting and being hungry allt he time. I obsess over food and it ends up being detrimental. One thing my trainer told me is to stop doing high intensity cardio every day, it's not necessary to lose weight and makes your body release the stress ho...

Re: HELP. How can a person feel great & LOSE weight being v

Hi Kisha - I know exactly how you feel!!! I was in pretty much the same position as you - for a while I even reverted to being pescatarian, it was the most disgusting week of my life!!! I am at the very last 4kg (8lbs) of a long weight loss jouney. Once I hit my UGW it will be 25kilos (50lbs) lost a...

Re: Sounds weird, tastes great: Unexpected Food Combos

I make little sandwiches of cored apple slices and all natural peanut butter. It's pinda like PB+J. I'm obsessed, I eat it every day at work and my co-workers (even the vegan ones) think I am NUTS!

Re: Fat, boozy meat-eater to happy hi-raw and lean!

I've lost a kilo this week just from diet alone as I couldn't train last week. I will most likely find a happy medium between the two as you said, but I just feel so elated, similar to when I went vegetarian. Don't be in a rush. Losing more than 1 - 2 pounds a week (the upper limit is for very larg...

Re: Fat, boozy meat-eater to happy hi-raw and lean!

Hi Nelliscarlet, First, wow....you look fantastic. Well done. I'm a little bit envious of the men in Australia this morning. Most of what is published or written about raw diets is utter fiction by people without real credentials or relevant educations.. A very well credentialed nutritionist (vegan...

Female vegan lifter from Melbourne, Australia

Hi everyone, I just recently made the switch to vegan after being vegetarian for about 2 years. I've been training hard to reverse a 20-kilo weight gain and have been lifting for the last 4 months or so. I guess I became vegan for the same reasons I became vegetarian, a psychological revulsion to an...
