Re: Eating meat lead to the evolution of mankind?

Ha ha nice one MrBear…DeEvolution? Evolution is such a complex and diverse phenomenon that modern scientist can’t fully explain it. But if all were doing here is making speculation than you can easily make a case in the other direction. Mankind is approximately 2.5 million years old and yet the firs...

Re: 44 best bodyweight exercises

Thanks for the video. I don’t have a gym membership as I’m trying to keep my expenses as low as possible. I had forgotten about some of those exercises. It’s been so long since I’ve done crucifix pushups or Jack Lalanne pushups. Now I can’t wait to workout this afternoon!

Re: Can't stop hurting my back!!!

I’ve had some back pain lately so I bought a foam roller. I roll my back up and down it every once in a while. It seems to help stretch my back muscles and “massage” my spine.

Re: PoPe's Ripped on Plants Journal :D

Looking good man, I’m a big fan of bodyweight workouts. Some of the hardest workouts I’ve done have been with nothing but my own weight.

Re: New Year resolution: 100 push-ups

Thanks for the link! I definitely need to work on my diamond pushups. Right now I can only do eight of those. Perhaps I’ll start a journal to keep everyone updated on my progress.

New Year resolution: 100 push-ups

So this year I have decided that one of my new years resolutions will be to perform 100 consecutive push-ups. For me this will be a big challenge and may just take the entire year to accomplish. The most I have ever done is 50. Right now I am out of shape and can only do 20. My plan is to build up m...

Re: Tired of people telling me to go Paleo!

I remember reading the first couple of chapters of Paleo and thinking this is bogus. The thing that got me was when he tried to explain scientifically how people are meant to eat meat. Something about how our body needs the extra protein and that’s what separates us from apes (I think). The whole ti...

Re: *Your best lift of the day ~ post it here*

Well I prefer bodyweight exercises than lifting weights…but I figured I’d post here anyway. Hope no one is offended. Just did 180 standing calf raises (divided into three sets of 60). This is not my best by far, but it is my best I could do today. I’m still recovering from a surgery not long ago so ...

Re: Who hate calorie counting?

I had an app on my phone that counted calories. It was pretty cool at the end of the day to see how everything added up. But I didn’t stick with it, only did it for about three months. I feel if I’m hungry I’ll eat something, if not then I wont. I’m not going to stress about reaching a goal everyday...

Re: hello from India

Hey Captfit,
I was wondering are most of your friends and family vegetarian or do they eat meat? The city I live in has very few people from India. And the assumption is that most people from India are vegetarian, but I’m not sure if this is true.

New here, Surgery putting a hold on exercise

Hey everyone, my name is Mark. I have been checking out this website for some time now and decided its time to join. About two years ago I started becoming a vegetarian. Before this time I ate meat on a regular basis, about twice a day. I always felt sluggish after a meal and had bad stamina thru th...
