Re: How to react with a person really against vegans ?

I don't like that crap. A lot of times, people just don't want to believe how big I am getting without animal products, but I rarely catch grief from anyone. One time my roommate kept pushing a plate with steak in my face, so I spat on it. He hasn't done that again lol. I think being bold enough to...

Re: My friends/partner don't understand my goals

This is an issue that nearly everyone faces at one point or another... they're called " Negs" . People that will constantly be throwing negativity at you at every possible chance. They don't understand what or why you are doing what you are doing, and will always question your sanity. Alth...

Re: How much protein?

I take a soy based protein available at Whole Foods and I really enjoy it mixed with tea, Maca powder, and cacao powder. I stick to the "lb per gram" theory as it has worked well for me. You take in too much protein and you will inevitably end up on the shitter for long periods of time. ht...

Re: tofu, good bad or maybe

I find that tofu is best in small doses. I would certainly say that your diet should mainly be composed of FRESH fruits and vegetables. I eat tofu when its around. When im in the local Whole Foods and they have some tastey tofu on display, maybe once or twice every 2 weeks. A diet based solely on so...

Re: New to the forum

prsaraogi, I do know I am lacking in the cardio area. Probably because I don't want to lose any of the muscle that I put on. Silly thinking, isn't it? Thanks for the advice and I will start to add some cardio; maybe some jump roping after my weight lifting or something like that. A diet with the pr...

Re: FL Newb here

Interesting story. My old personal trainer became very spiritual and meditated quite a lot. Whenever he ate meat it would disrupt his meditations. I believe it. Since I became a Vegan I can honestly say it is much easier to focus on meditation and feel it's effectiveness more easily. My intuition h...

Although you may have been able to train a tiny bit harder with someone there to push you, remember without them there you still have your own mind and soul. I train mostly by myself, by choice, because I can concentrate more on ...
