Hello everyone! Some of you might not be aware of simple actions that go a long way in supporting this website. I fund it all myself and it can get expensive at times with the tours and promotions, give-aways and programs, and paying those who help run and maintain the website. I want to inform you of ways you can contribute to this wonderful resource by doing things you already do. Here are some easy ways to support this forum and http://www.veganbodybuilding.com: 1. If you already use Vega products, please consider ordering from any of the 4 stores I work with. When these stores order from Vega, I get commission. I've been working with Vega for 6 years and these…

This thread is dedicated to bodybuilding diets. Everyone can add their experience, tips, advice on how to gain muscle and/or lose bodyfat. Later maybe i'll split the topic, but for now, let's have both in one. Feel free to add your ideas. It's possible that you have different opinions on things, but please don't discuss in this thread. The purpose of this thread is to be a source of information on vegan BB diets. For a start, here are my thoughts on BB diet. Everyone who does BB wants to either build up mass or lose bodyfat, or both, preferably. There are many opinions around how to do it best. Obviously, the exact plan depends on the individuals starting point.…

Hey everyone, Lately, I've been contemplating the intricacies of relationships and stumbled upon an interesting concept: the Relationship Wheel Picker Question. Essentially, it's a tool to navigate the dynamics within relationships. The idea is to imagine a wheel with various aspects of a relationship—communication, trust, intimacy, etc. Then, if you could only choose three aspects to prioritize, which would they be? I find this question thought-provoking because it prompts reflection on what truly matters in our connections with others. It's fascinating to see how different priorities can shape and define relationships. What are your thoughts? Which aspects wou…

So I broke my 5th Metacarpal in my left hand in a crash last Sunday (10 days ago) Had it xrayed, 2 fractures and a clean brake but none displaced, couldn't have surgery as the pieces were all smashed up and nothing substantial left to pin or wire up. Its been 10 days now, pains gone and I can move my little finger again, swellings nearly all gone but when I take my (half) cast off its obvious I've lost at least 5mm of my finger length. Basically, I'm wondering how long before others who had similar injury's have been able to ride DH like this https://doctor.global/blog/metacarpal-fractures-comprehensive-guide-to-treatment-and-recovery/? Docs are ok at being vague…

"If you need a week off from the gym take it. Every 8-10 weeks I take a complete week off and usually I don't do cardio. If I did a growth scheme workout last then I'll probably do light cardio the week I take off. But taking a complete week off is necessary if you train hard. It is a mental and physical break that everyone needs." well, I am on about a MONTH of an "off day/week" because of the bicycle accident, I don't want to lose muscle mass, but at the same time I dont want to gain unnecessary fat. hm hm. I'm going to be trying to do a "low carb" thing, but its interesting. the lower carb the lower calories and I dont want to go TOO low. people who have take…

Hey everyone, I'm relatively new to the area and looking for recommendations on a good weed dispensary nearby. I've heard there are several options, and I want to make an informed choice. What factors do you consider when selecting a dispensary? Are there any specific places you've had positive experiences with in terms of product variety, quality, or customer service? I'm particularly interested in hearing about places that offer a welcoming atmosphere for newcomers. Any insights you can share would be greatly appreciated as I navigate this new aspect of the community.

Hey all. I have come to very much respect and appreciate the insight and (majority) of opinions on here. As mentioned in my introductory post, I kind of "have" cancer. It's a skin cancer (malignant melanoma, the one that CAN kill people...) that was excised (cut out) a bit over a year ago. I've had two ct scans since then, but my oncologist has wanted me to get a petscan since this whole thing happened. The surgery went fine, my sentinal node (the closest node to the site of the cancer- if the cancer is in there, it's bad news...) came back negative and subsequent scans have shown no new growth. So, now I need to get another scan. The Ctscans are covered by my insu…

Hello. I recently found myself pondering a question regarding non-alcoholic wine and thought this forum would be the perfect place to seek some insights. While I'm quite familiar with traditional wines and their characteristics, I must admit that I'm relatively new to the world of non-alcoholic alternatives. My question pertains to the taste and quality of non-alcoholic wines compared to their alcoholic counterparts. Specifically, I'm curious to hear about your experiences with non-alcoholic wines. Have you found them to be satisfactory substitutes for traditional wines in terms of flavor, aroma, and overall enjoyment? Are there any particular brands or varieties that sta…

Hey everyone, I have a question about something that's been on my mind lately, and I was hoping to get some insight from this wonderful community. I've been researching about implantation bleeding and its potential signs and symptoms. From what I understand, implantation bleeding can occur when a fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterine lining, typically around 6-12 days after conception. However, I'm a bit confused about what exactly constitutes implantation bleeding. I've read various accounts online, some describing it as light spotting, while others mention it as more akin to a light period. Can anyone share their personal experiences with implantation bleeding? …

Help me! Heading to Orlando FL tomorrow, staying at the Parc Soleil. Beyond heading to Epcot and partaking of Japanese food, where the heck else is good? Key things: HEALTHY FOOD. Also, healthy food. Did I mention healthy food? I'm back into P90X, crafting my own balanced schedule, and have been pretty active with a ton of walking/running around/up and down stairs, you name it. Goal is weight loss, toning, strength/endurance building, health. Yes, I'm demanding but we're HERE, right? Thanks!

So as part of my new diet plan, I'm trying to take a vitamin supplement every day. I'm taking Blue Bonnet B-Complex caps (www.bluebonnetnutrition.com). I understand that B-12 supplementation is important for us as our diet does not give us access to that, but are there any other nutrients that a vegan diet tends to be short on that I should know about? I want to make sure that I'm not deficient in anything but I also don't want to pop things in my body if I don't need to. By the way, does anyone know anything about how these sorts of vitamin mixtures are formulated? This particular brand gives you: B-1, B-2, B-3, B-6, Folate, B-12, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Choline Bita…

Hey everyone, I've been researching RF Microneedling lately and wanted to share some insights. Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling combines traditional microneedling with the added benefit of radiofrequency energy. This dual-action approach stimulates collagen production, aiding in skin tightening and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The microneedles create controlled micro-injuries, triggering the skin's natural healing process. RF Microneedling is gaining popularity for its ability to address various skin concerns, including acne scars and enlarged pores. Has anyone tried it, and if so, what were your experiences? I'm curious to hear different perspecti…

http://www.citizens.org/priorities/hr3156/index.cfm snip... In an era of spiraling health care costs, H.R. 3156 will likely increase the price of popular herbs and dietary supplements like St. John’s Wort, saw palmetto, and omega-3 fatty acids by establishing a burdensome and unnecessary set of ingredient and adverse event reporting requirements. The Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 already provides for the establishment of Good Manufacturing Practices for the dietary supplement industry, and for the ability of the FDA to pull unsafe products. So why are we adding another expensive layer of regulation? This bill hurts consumers’ pocketbooks wit…
