Vegan cupcakes used to be a big thing in previous years! But without Veganmadre and Speaklow posting their amazing creations it seems cupcakes have been long forgotten. I am not nearly as talented as those two cupcake geniuses but still I attempted a batch yesterday... (seems my photography is not as impressive either..)

I just bought that book a month ago and I have tried only one recipe; we baked some chocolate cupcakes with my sister. They turned out really perfect, I'm sure the other recipes are just as good. I want to try the gluten-free cupcakes too someday.

These are some vegan cupcakes I made, these are all also gluten-free:

Chocolate, peanut butter and rum cupcakes:

Saffron and white chocolate cupcakes, the frosting melted due to my impatience therefore it looks a bit strange:

This is not a cupcake, it's a chocolate and fig mini-cake, I like mini-cakes more than cupcakes:

And then a white chocolate and raspberry mini-cake:

Beautiful pictures! I have NO patience for decorating desserts. I give the two of you a lot of credit.

These look so good! I have no artistic, or baking ability so if I made any they definitely wouldn't look this decadent.

Thanks :)

Has anyone bought the book My Sweet Vegan? It is a vegan dessert book and it's supposed to be really good. I'm not sure if it has many gluten-free recipes though.

I just got the book. It's pure food porn for me since I don't plan on making anything in it! Every recipe has a picture!

It has 11 gluten-free recipes listed in the index.
