Ingredient Functions

#1 Postby strawberryriddick » Sat Mar 14, 2009 10:22 am

I'm not that much of a baker because it's an exact science instead of cooking, which is more of a passionate blend of the senses. I found this source for ingredient functions and thought it would be rather helpful for anyone who isn't quite sure of what certain ingredients lend to any recipe (baked or cooked).

It's a looong list, so I recommend doing a Ctrl + F to search for what you're looking for. As vegans, it's helpful to know what the ingredients do so we can better replace them as needed.
