4 Cups stale bread broken into bite size pieces
3 1/2 Cups soymilk
2/3 Cup sugar
Place bread pieces in a shallow baking pan. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over the bread pieces, completely saturating. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes. (Another Farm Cookbook recipe!)
Here is a simple picture of our modest dessert. It would have been fantastic with a scoop of vegan ice bean - all warm and gooey but, we're limited on supplies and this was still extremely satistifying (for dessert and for breakfast this morning) .
