what is the best kind of bread for making subsandwiches?
i find french bread to be a bit too wide for my taste...
any suggestions?

A baguette is good...other than that we have a locally made bread here called Billy Bread. Its by far the best hard crusted bread I've ever had...and its recipe is a well kept secret...all I know is that it is a yeast free bread but you'd never know it. Unfortunately they only make bread available for Richmond, VA.
