Eeewy and Gooey Swirls of Goodness.

Image

Dough Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups warm water
2 tsp yeast
3 tbsp dry sweetener
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt

Also:
Approx. 3 tbsp room temp. margarine
1 cup dry sweetener mixed with 1 - 2 tbsp cinnamon

Also:1/2 stick margarine
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp corn syrup

In a large mixing bowl - combine water, yeast and sweetener. Allow to active - approx 10 minutes. Add flour and salt and mix until dough forms. Knead dough for roughly 5 minutes. On a flat, lightly floured surface, Roll dough out until it is about the size of a cookie sheet (see pic.)

Spread room temp margarine over entire square of dough - completely, yet lightly, coating. Evenly distribute cinnamon sugar mixture over margarine. (see pic)

Roll dough towards you to create a spiral loaf. (see pic)

Slice dough into 1/2 inch thick slices. (see pic)

Image

Heat 1/2 stick of margarine, 1/4 brown sugar and 2 tbsp corn syrup over medium heat until all are melted - they will Not Completely Blend. Add this mixture -tbsp by tbsp to a muffin pan (see pic)

Image

Place dough slices in muffin tin. (see picture)

Image

Cover with a cloth and let rise for 2 hours. The rolls will double in size. (see pic)

Image

Preheat oven to 350 and bake rolls for approx. 20 minutes - until edges brown.

While cooking, prepare icing:

Icing Ingredients:
8 oz powdered sugar (1/2 of a 1lb box)
1/8 cup soymilk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 stick of softened margarine

Combine all ingredients. Icing should be THICK. THe hot cinnamon rolls will melt it to gooey perfection!

Remove rolls from the oven and promptly scoop icing on top...spread evenly and eat sparingly - THESE ARE SINFULLY BAD!

You're right! But remember, it could be worse for health - if there was unvegan crap like cholesterol, saturated fat and casein in it :!:
No one said it would be easy.

The secret is to make them to "give away"!

And, yes, there is a direct correlation between the goodness of these cinnabons and their unhealthiness. Unfortunately, if you find them not good, they will not be not unhealthy. :?
