Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Me and my little sister made these cookies the other day when she got home from school. They are really good!

1/2 cup non-hydrogenated vegan margarine
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/2 cup non-refined vegan sugar
1/2 cup sucanat or vegan brown sugar
1/2 c vegan chocolate chips
2 tablespoons water + extra as needed (i used about 8 )
1 teaspoon Ener-G Egg Replacer
2 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Combine margarine, peanut butter, both vegan sugars and water. Sift together the dry ingredients, then stir into first mixture. Mix completely.

Roll into 1" balls, and place about 3" apart on greased cookie sheet, then flatten with a fork. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes, until cookies are set.

You can use one cup of either sugar instead of two different vegan sugars, and the cookies still come out good. Enjoy!

:D

Thanks for the recipe! Sounds tasty :)

Reminds me of the cookies in Matrix (the one the oracle made)... :?

Now, can i have the recipe for the paste on your face, Chesty? I think i need it 8)

Very cool recipe and cool pics, too! Is your sister vegan? Is your family?

Are you sure you need the egg-replacement? Usually vegan cookies do well without (and i don't like that stuff).

I like how the recipe section expands 8) I'll contribute one of my favorite recipes in the distant future, too, following yours and veganmadres example of picture-guided recipe threads :D

Love, peace and appetite :?

Your sister is adorable!

Do you have to use brown sugar? Can you use all regular turbinado sugar, do you think?

Vegan baking is a whole new thing for me.
