Ranch Dressing

#1 Postby damer » Thu Oct 18, 2007 11:55 am

It's been so damn long since I've had ranch dressing, I had sort of forgotten it exists, until I was on the vegcooking.com site and found this recipe.

It's outta-control good! Goes great with a spinach salad! It calls for 1/4 tsp. dill but I used more...cuz I'm a dillweed : ).

'Ranch' Dressing

1/2 cup Nayonaise
1/2 cup Veganaise
1/4 cup soy milk
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 rounded tsp. fresh chopped parsley
1-1/2 tsp. apple cider vinegar
1/4 tsp. dill

• Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until creamy.

(I assume you can use all Veganaise (1 cup) or all Nayonaise (1 cup) as well if you don't have both.)

Great!! Always looking for things to feed the rugrat to get her more excited about the Vegan lifestyle. I'm seeing this on faux chicken fingers for her and on salads.

I've perfected Vegan mashed potatoes for her and now that I've added soy bacon bits, she thinks I'm the greatest cook in the world. One weekend when I'm feeling ambitious I'm gonna try Vegan Twice Baked potatoes.

Anyway, thanks for the post!
