1 Can chick peas or soak raw garbonzos
2 stalks celery
2 green (scallions)
1/4 cup Veganaise (I get mine at wholefoods market)
1 TBL lemon juice
1 Whole Wheat Tortilla wrap ( I use Wholefoods 365 brand)
pepper/ms. dash if you want
I don't use salt much and if I do it's either a dash of sea salt or equiv.
Mash Garbonzos in mixing bowel with bean/potato masher. Just enough - don't go crazy and make soup out of it. I have some whole beans left over when I'm done.
Chop celery and scallions fine
add 1/4 cup veganaise
Combine all with spatula
This makes approximately 4 servings
Add to a tortilla wrap and fold it your way! YUM.
Breakdown (based upon canned 365 brand garbonzos)
1 Serving= 1 Tortilla
Obviously this is not a high protein meal but you can add it to other items for a meal. To decrease fat, you can limit the veganaise. Maybe just 1 TBLS.
Throw down a protein shake and you just might wind up with a full meal!
