robert
Cool, Thanks for the heads up. I know of vegan Thanksgiving events going on in Portland and Eugene. I've mentioned them a bit to Megan and Topher, but we'll check out the dates, times and locations and see what we're able to attend. The Holiday season is always a rough time for me, a time when more animals are killed than any other.....but I try not to think about it too much and focus on the things that I can do to save lives. I do love vegan treats aroun the holiday season which is also the off-season for bodybuilding so I can eat some "junk foods" Happy Early Vegan Thanksgiving everyone (who in someway celebrates this 'holiday')! -Robert -Robert
Aaron
I put in a call to my mom last night explaining that my particpation would be limited. Mostly the whole food/dinner aspect I'd abstain from. And as I recognized that to be of importance to the family I'd probably better skip it rather than hang out with everyone before and after and be noticeably absent as I sat in another room contemplating contemplatables. robert
Topher and I ended up going to a Vegan Thanksgiving event in Eugene, Oregon. It was put on by EVEN (Eugene Veg Education Network). There were probably about 75 other vegans there and great food! Our vegan friend Nettie came with us as well. I chatted with a few people about Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness and I'll be speaking to their group in a couple of months. There were some totally cute little vegan kids ages under 2, 3, and one was probably around 6. I hung out with the 3-year old Cilas (sp) quite a bit. He was talking all about his vegan life I said to his dad, "I wish I knew what vegan was when I was 3 years old." He replied by telling me that his kids are very educated on veganism which impressed me to no end. Good times, good food, good vegan friends around the "holidays." -Thin Thin VeganGiving Him

robert
Dude, no worries man (I just realized I always use "Dude" when I reply to you). She was a cute vegan girl, sometimes they can be intimidating, hard to talk to. I haven't even told you about my last visit to Nearly Normals....I'll tell you when I see you later on today. Sorry for the inside conversations, just discussing our single vegan lives and our struggles with the ladies I'll limit the inside conversations, just haven't seen the Toph-dogg in a few days, we've both been busy/out of town, or working. -Rob
CrispyQ
She was a cute vegan girl, sometimes they can be intimidating, hard to talk to. ??? Are vegan girls harder to approach than non-vegan girls? I would think a vegan guy would have an advantage with vegan girls simply cuz of his vegan philosophy. ?????? Or does your comment encompass ALL girls?
robert
It's just that vegan girls are the ones we like, so we get nervous. Typical boys That's all. -Rob
