toothpaste

#1 Postby CollegeB » Mon Nov 14, 2005 8:51 pm

So I'm wonderin what kinds of toothpaste people use. I've got Tom's of Maine and Kiss my face...i bought it because it has aloe vera in it which seemed exotic. It also has tooth whitening powers, though I have noticed no difference and I've used almost the whole tube.

Tom's here, too. Mine has CoQ10, which is supposed to be good for your gums. However, about 2 years ago I started flossing everyday & what a difference. I never get The Lecture from my hygenist anymore! :D

As for whitening toothpastes, I read that they don't work well because the stuff has to stay on your teeth for a period of time. Check out the Crest white stips. My husband used them successfully, although they are kind of pricey.

Green tea toothpaste sounds good.

Crispy,
I never floss except the night before I go to the dentist, sometimes they give me flac but usually I have to tell them I dont floss. I do have a sonicare toothbrush which helps a lot.

I found some random herbal one that was on clearance at a health food store...and I have often stopped to ask myself

If my herbal toothpaste is turning my toothbrush GREEN then how is it supposed to whiten my teeth?

Maybe it's like how if you add a little black to white paint it makes the white brighter.

Yeah we usually keep Tom's of Maine, or some other kind of hippy brand from the health food store, at my house

Wow, I've never heard that before. It seems to go against everything I have ever been taught to believe. Gawd how can something feel so wrong and so right at the same time.

hehe. j/k. I really have never heard that before and want to try it out.

Pepsodent

I just buy whatever is vegan, and whatever is cheap. So when I found Pepsodent, I got stuck with that.
