the exact same people who test on non-human animals.

sorry to be the cold logician again, but there isnt any difference in testing on animals such as dogs and primates and testing on mentally handicapped or newborn humans.

this is not to say that it is right - its appalling, but we should not be more outraged by testing on humans - it could easily be argued that primates have more capacity for suffering than newborns or severally disabled humans. simply because they are not part of our species means that most people exclude them from their moral concern. if asked to justify this, the usual answer is 'they arent human'.

i agree that the link is pretty sick, but lets not put the suffering of humans on a higher level than that of sentient animals.

Always grateful for your logic Jonathan. :D

I feel the same way about animal testing. I get so upset, it's so hard to get people to listen. And then some companies are so full of crap with their "this product is not tested on animals but every little part of it was". It's the same with the animals and the kids, they are taking beings who can't defend themselves and exploiting them. It's just so wrong. :cry:
