Fun things about being fit

#1 Postby robert » Thu Jun 02, 2005 2:06 am

Being fit is just fun! That's all there is to it. You look good, feel good, inspire others, and lead a positive example for all around you.

There are also just some "fun" things that come from being fit. I get asked all the time if I take steroids and I take that as a compliment. Some don't take it that way, but I do. I think it's kinda nice because they acknowledge muscle mass and suspect alternative methods were used. Then that opens up a chance for me to say, "no" and tell them that I'm "VEGAN." That part is really cool.

I'm really having fun pasting photos on here so I'll post some "FUN" ones that all stem from one thing........being FIT!

If these photos don't look like fun, I don't know what will! I'm quite sleepy and about to go to sleep but for "fun" here we go with some photos:

I agree on the steroids issue. Also when I tell some people that I am vegan, they are shocked. Then the age, thats a big shocker too hehe. Im not really a go out type of guy, and I have fun just hitting the gym and talking to people there. Seems like you go out a lot  BTW, that girl in the front of the 1st pic looks funny. Everyones smiling but her, hehe looks odd.

Any guy that says that does not look like fun is a lying. But for me, my girlfriend would have to be part of that picture, she is the best.

I'm note sure why the girl in front is not smiling. She is really pretty when she does. She was my girlfriend for a while back in 2002. Maybe that is why she isn't happy with the photo 8)

Those were my friends I worked with on the cruise ship. I worked in the spa as a massage therapist so I was one of the only guys, all the rest girls.

In that photo, there are girls from South Africa, Spain, and England and I keep in touch with quite a few of them all these years later.

Good times.

Trust me man, there aren't always girls around me, those photos are few and far between so I make sure I get them up there on occasion.

Being fit is just "fun" in itself, but has many rewards, health and otherwise.

No worries, let the abs go on vacation so the rest of the body can go to "work"

Keep on training hard and only what....another 10 days or so before heading to the UK?

Topher will arrive in Bulk-Size in Europe!

my legs are still so tiny in comparison to the rest of me! eek. but my upper body is bulking big time. and once my knees stop being fickle I can really start training my legs hard.

yeh Im getting so nervous with anticipation. im going to the shore tomorrow to visit family and to get a base tan, so im not so pale when i go visit the UK. heh.
