That depends on who you follow, but yes. Definitely.

In the interest of full disclosure, I have received two poop-based tweets in the past hour. Make of that what you will.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was from one of our ex-employees who used to send out around 50-100 "tweets" daily, covering every event of her day from the moment she woke up until the time she fell asleep. You can imagine how thrilled I was to hear her Blackberry beeping every 45 seconds all day long as her 1500 followers were sending constant messages to it while she was at work and just outside my office....

But, she insisted that this wacky social networking stuff was here to stay, and while I bucked it, I guess she was right in the end. Just one more way for us all to believe we're closer than ever while never having to actually see or hear the people we're communicating with

for me personally, twitter and facebook ain't that bad. because it's easier for me to write vs speak what i'm thinking sometimes, so if i post an update my friends can read it, and when we actually talk or meet up it's something to bring up i think wouldn't have come up otherwise. but that's just me :)

Yeah, I was reluctant to join twitter at first since I was crushing facebook so hard, but now I'm rocking both and really like it....I've been using online social media since the late 90's....AIM and all that and then forums and now more effective platforms.

Facebook is still my favorite, but twitter has helped me in a lot of ways too.

twitter is awesome. I follow a lot of friends, but also a lot of specific news sites. Lots of health/vegan things, lots of deaf culture things (I'm an interpreting student), things like that. The links most of the people I follow post are all pretty interesting, and I try to do the same.

Facebook (I only recently got an account there) seems too self involved. with twitter, you have 140 characters to get your point across.

I'm on twitter as well.

I follow a lot of people I am interested in and I also post updates about my process of getting to a healthy point in my life. Sometimes it is hard keeping track of all of the people that I follow though, but I do really enjoy reading what people are up to.

I have a jealous personality so twitter and facebook are not healthy for me.

I'm on Twitter, but have no clue what I'm doing there! LOL.
