CrispyQ
puke Goodbye ConstitutionGoodbye Democratic RepublicGoodbye checks & balancesGoodbye privacy Hello presidential powerHello fear & uncertaintyHello repressionHello War Without End The fascist are in control. It is time to act on what our founding fathers said: "But when a long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a Design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future Security." === I am just sick over this. neil
well said, crispyQ. chesty laroux, i've been thinking of getting the hell out of dodge, too. being in DC--where the politics can permeate--is tough. http://www.cagle.com/news/Alito/images/thompson.jpg http://www.cagle.com/news/Alito/images/lane.gif
CollegeB
I think our system was messed up far before Alito, hopefully he wont try to give POTUS (emerging dictator) any more power even though he does favor a stronger executive.

robert
I hear Austria is the #1 Animal Rights-friendly country in the world. I'm not sure where I heard that, maybe somewhere on a PETA website or something. Anyone know more about this? -Robert

willpeavy
Yeah DC is awesome. I lived there for a year. My favorite part was that you don't need a car because of the Metro. My least favorite part was that rent prices were out of control
