Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness

I was looking into buying a straight edge razor at "Art Of Shaving" here in Boston.

In order to use one however I would have to use a small Strop like this one [url]http://www.theartofshaving.com/shop/product/68010/10/url]. The main problem is that it's half canvas, (to warm up the blade) and half leather (to help make sure the blade cuts gets the hair good).

My question is, are there vegan alternatives to this? And will it perform as well as the leather?

There used to be a company making vegan strops, but they stopped offering them about 2 years ago and only do leather now. I've been trying to find another supplier for a long time, but no luck yet.

That was the one, Joe - last time I contacted them, they said they weren't doing the vegan ones any longer, looks like I might finally be able to get them back in stock!
