Low carbohydrate vegan diet
I'm curious about the vegan community. Do vegan believes in low carb diet and controlling your insulin?

Re: Low carbohydrate vegan diet
I think most vegans are more about a 'good carb' diet than a low carb diet. By good carbs I mean that whole grains are ok, fruit is good, beans are great, and everything else isn't a carb

While it's a community, you'll find that everybody has a different approach to their diet, and what they focus on - there is no rule book. Regarding carbs, I once worked with a low carb diet and did fine for a while. But, looking back, I was missing out on a lot of other nutrients at the time. I guess it depends on how few carbs you're talking about. I've never tried it long term
