because I am full of questions...
do you drain your canned beans?
me personally, I love the liquid it sits in, although I still drain it almost completely, it's still yummy.

I wash mine when I use them from the can, that liquid contains tons of sodium!!

I only used dried beans, I boil em myself. Dont trust the preservatives/salt.

Yes, that water contains a lot of salt (probably why it tastes so good to many).

Yes, cooking dry beans is an awesome and delicious and economical alternative to canned beans, and is well worth a shot. You may fall in love ;)

I invested $40 in a pressure cooker about 3 years ago (mostly for beans, but it does other stuff pretty well), and that thing has paid for itself so many times over. I cook a large batch, drain them in a colander, then put them in a tupperware in the freezer. When I want to eat them, simply pop open the top, pour some warm water in and they break apart and reboil in a couple minutes.
