Depending on where my friend is placed (he is getting an internship) I'm either going to Boston or Austin in late June. I'm really excited. Well I guess there is a slim chance he could be in any other US city but most likely it's one of those two. Any tips and tricks and hot spots appreciated. Also will need to know the name of a gym where I could drop in for a small fee...

I live in Boston, and can tell you a lot of gyms offer special passes and what-not. I personally don't use gyms and work out in my basement.

Boston has a vegan pizzeria and a vegan ice cream place a few doors down from it. There are also vegan bakeries, vegan Asian places, and vegetarian restaurants with vegan options for everything. We are DAMNED spoiled here in Boston and I suggest a visit, you won't regret it.
