The Locavore's Dilemma

I haven't read this book, but I found this fascinating quote and amazon link on nutritionist Jeff Novick's Facebook page:

"Shifting less than one day per week’s worth of calories
from red meat and dairy products to a plant-based diet achieves more GHG reduction than buying all locally sourced food."

The Locavore's Dilemma: In Praise of the 10,000-mile Diet

Very interesting stat. Well not really a stat, it doesn't list how much or by how much. Kind of an unspecific statement. However it makes me interested in reading the book. Has anyone else read this book yet?
