First Double Blind Study Proves Plant-based Rice Protein Has Identical Benefits To Animal-based Whey Protein

(When they talk about "benefits" of whey protein, I assume they are referring to whey's ability to help build muscle, not "benefits" to overall health, which is an important distinction)

Thoughts?

It`s really difficult to know if the participants in each group were eating properly and really trying their best while exercising. We can't even say that this particular study proves that plant protein diets aren't at disadvantage because it is not clear if there were vegetarians among the participants.
That's why I generally find these kind of studies hard to believe.

But it is always good to have some `scientific study` to back up some of our arguments against the dairy/meat industry =)

Also looks like the study was founded by the same company whose rice protein was used, Axiom Foods. So I would take the results with a grain of salt unfortunately. :/

Or, you might say, a grain of rice?
