DJWuggs
I have a boat (inflatable) I want to sell. Actually, two of them. They're the kind of boat that's mostly used for angling, which I have an ethical problem with. I passed up an opportunity to sell them, because I knew they would be used for angling. What would you do in my situation? Just sell them or keep 'em? Try to sell them to a non-angler (this would probably not be that easy)? I used them for exercise, but now I want to sell them and buy a kayak. Interested to hear what you'd do.
humancertainty
Unless you know a vegan that will want them, I'm not sure why it would matter. Would you feel better with someone buying it to just paddle around on the lake, deflate it, and drive to Long John Silver's afterward?
muchidna
if it were me, i would just sell it, i wouldn't push my personal values onto anyone i wouldn't sell my car only to someone who wouldnt buy fast food, buy groceries etc with it but yeah, if was me, it wouldnt be any of my business what a buyer intended to use it for it's a strange issue just another thought, is angling wild fish worse than buying farmed fish or mass haul fish? C.O.
Yeah just sell it man. Just keep leading by example. You're not saving the world at all by not selling your boat. You're just keeping one of the good people poorer hahaha. -Dylan
