robert
http://animalapa.org/?hop=prayersrus The mission of Animal Abuse Prevention Agency is to promote, and develop a positive, respectful, and caring bond between people and animals everywhere. We support activities that bring people and their pets together in a harmonious and safe relationship. Our aim and objectives are to educate the public as to the needs of their pets and to provide information on the proper care and treatment of animals. We urge the vigorous enforcement of existing animal cruelty laws and will make the public aware of possible abuses to their pets. We will provide homes for unwanted, abandoned or stray animals by a process of adoption which includes a veterinarian’s health checkup for the animal and the screening of the prospective owner to be sure the pet and owner are compatible. Pet overpopulation issues are a major priority for AAPA. We will encourage the spaying and neutering of animals to reduce the overpopulation problems by offering low-cost and subsidized services. Other services include providing information and referral services to the public including emergency medical assistance for their pets. Our efforts to educate the public on the care of animals, to provide adoptions when needed and the development of a strong program of spaying and neutering will save the lives and suffering of countless animals and reduce the tax burden for our communities.
