#1 Postby Richard » Sat Aug 20, 2005 3:46 pm

I think the current forum names are confusing and misleading. Here are my suggestions for renaming some of the forums (left is existing name, right is proposed improvement):

Vegan Recipes - Vegan Recepish (pronounced RESS-A-PISH)

Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements - Vitamish, Minerish and Supplemish

Men's Health - Manly Missions for Masculine Maintenance

Beginner's Questions - The Hall of Obedience

Fitness & Training - Fiznish &Trish

General Bodybuilding - BodyBish HQ

Online Training Journals - Onlish Trish Journish

Women's Fitness - Female Fiznish Biznish

Powerlifting & Strength Sports - Powerlish and Strength Spish

Member's Milestones and Personal Bests - The Book of Indestructable Achievement and Awesomeness

Advice & Feedback - Advish & Feedbish

IFBB Pro Bodybuilding - IFBBish Pro BodyBish

Other Sports - Non-descript Physical Games for People and/or Humans

Animal Rights - The Hallway of Morality and Justice and Animals and Awesomeness

Vegan Lifestyle - The way of the Vegan and Awesomeness

News and Events - The Scroll of Stuff that's going on Right Now

Recommended Reading - The Library of Knowledge and Awesomeness

LOL Richard, you seem to be bored and have too much time! ;-)

Women's Health - Facts for Females on the subject of Health and Awesomeness

Okay...

Men's Health - Manly Missions for Masculine Maintenance

Erm...

Beginner's Questions - The Hall of Obedience

!?

Member's Milestones and Personal Bests - The Book of Indestructable Achievement and Awesomeness

THAT is finally a good idea! :D

Other Sports - Non-descript Physical Games for People and/or Humans

Yeah, cool 8) Maybe as an subtitle :)

Animal Rights - The Hallway of Morality and Justice and Animals and Awesomeness

I like it, but it might be confusing to the newbies ;) So i suggest it as a SUBTITLE again ;-)

Vegan Lifestyle - The way of the Vegan and Awesomeness

This is wrong: the way of the vegan is the same as the way of awesomeness. It's double.

News and Events - The Scroll of Stuff that's going on Right Now

Nah!

Recommended Reading - The Library of Knowledge and Awesomeness

Nah nah!

Entertainment - The Banquet Hall of Awesomeness

School & Work Related Stress - The Frustration Station

General Discussion - The Non-specific Room of Chance and Awesomeness

Archive from Old Forum - The Ancient Mists of Awesomeness

I give up *shrugs shoulders*

No, i can't agree to that. It sounds like you the mouth full of fish, which is very unvegan - sorry.

I suggest you do your own site ;)
Or program an alternative skin for this forum!
No one said it would be easy.

The word 'fish' is vegan, if used in relation to a living creature, rather than a corpse intended as food.

Thanks for examining my list. Hopefully other people will see how practical and logical my approach is.

on a side note: if anyone ever listens to me laugh in person, i have one of two laughs:

1. a really high pitched "girly" laugh
2. I laugh like a pirate and actually say arrharr

ha. I usually laugh just like in breaths, with no kind of sound. If I am dying with laughter and crying then it gets intense like I am being strangled. But I do sometimes do the pirate laugh too HARRR, or say 'hehh hehh hehh'. I know a dude who says 'hurrr hurrrhurrr' he has no other kind of laugh.
