Thanks for that post Sknydpr, I was starting to feel really old. (1963 for me --- 3 days after Newton's birthday.)

Nah, I don't care that I'm bloody near 43, I'm still young at heart in a lot of ways. Or immature, depending on your perspective. :)

I make a mean Vegan Chocolate Cake! It was pretty famous around my community for a few years. I haven't really done much baking in many years :(

I used to make muffins, cakes, cookies, etc. to sell at my school. Every week in high school a bunch of us Vegan Kids would bake vegan treats to introduce them to non-vegans. It was really fun and I was pretty good.

I loved making cakes for friends birthdays too.

Cakes doesn't do so well in the mail, but Ill send you something :P

I think some b-days are coming up soon, some in Sept, so I'll be collecting addresses from certain people soon.

Have fun everyone!

Robert

Here's the birthday thread!

My birthday is August 28, and I was born in 1972.

This thread had most of its posts right around my last birthday! I missed out.

Oh hey! I finally reached 100 posts! Yay!

oops I just realized that I didnt post on this thread.

june 26 1975

and I would LOVE a homemade vegan chocolate cake WITH SMURF BLUE FROSTING. Frosting MUST BE BLUE. This is ESSENTIAL. And I dont want to see any vanilla anywhere on the cake -- only blue and chocolate. I am dead serious. I have a psychological attachment I think to blue frosting.

Hero, I think I will hold you to your above offer about baking a cake -- but you have to come to Toronto to bring it me. or maybe I will come to Oregon just for your baking.

Topher is inept in the kitchen....I'd love to see him bake a cake! It could change my whole perception of him!

Is Toronto anywhere near North Dakota?
