Hi!

#1 Postby purified » Mon Nov 14, 2005 12:58 pm

Hey there!
I'm a 21 years old male from germany (another one...). I have been vegetarian for about 2 years and vegan...i really don't know (a half year?)
But hell, i feel really good and the best is i gain more weight then ever before. I'm lifting weights for about 1 and a half year, but not regular. Currently I'm doing it nearly everyday, just to have a pressure release.

some facts:
body height: 174 cm
starting weight: 58 kg
weight before vegan: 66kg
current weight: 71kg
current aim: 76kg (BMI 25, you know :wink: )

Hi Purified!

There are LOTS of people from Germany here -- maybe they even live close to you? Is the part of Germany you are from close to Frankfurt or Efurt?

if you stick around, you will make some awesome new friends here and have fun in the meantime, trust me. :wink:

See you on the boards,
natalie

Hi hallo :)

Welcome to this awesome board full of awesome vegan people :D

Wie bist Du auf die Seite gestossen?

Viel Spaß hier,
Daywalker 8)

P.S.:
Has your screen name something to do with you being straight edge? Or being purified from animal products?
No one said it would be easy.

Welcome to our TEAM!

Wow, another person from Germany! Daywalker, are you recruiting all the new Germans? It is awesome to see all the new people here each day.

Have you been lifting weights for the past two years or since you were two years old?

I guess if I think about it, I've been lifting since age 14, but not seriously until age 19-20-21.

Great to have you here and I hope you enjoy the group and meet lots of cool people.

Robert

Thanks for the great welcome!

@daywalker
Well, i knew veganbodybuilding.com sometimes ago, but never visited the forums. Just through someones myspace profile i discovered this nice place...
And yes, i'm Straight Edge and the screenname is associated with it and i'm still grateful that i took this step (had some probs with alcohol, cigarettes, coffeine) :)

@robert
Haha, i just edited my first post. If i have been lifting weights since i'm 2 years old, i would be a little bit bigger, i think :wink:

@compassionategirl
Three months ago i lived 50km from Erfurt away, in Saalfeld. But i had to move to Altenburg which is about 130km from Erfurt. A lot of strange people over here, but i would do everything for a job which fits to my personal views.

Aside from the US, there are more people here from Germany than any other place. You guys should totally get together for the German Vegan Bodybuilding Team :) All of you guys need to get Vegan Bodybuilding t-shirts like Daywalker, Lelle, and Flanders 8)

Keep on promoting this site to friends and we'll expand our awesome community!

already got a shirt but:
i would love a shirt like --> "Vegan Bodybuilding Team Germany"! i could order it together with the vegan bodybuilding and fitness dvd coming out soon, yay! :P
BUT i am not worth wearing it around yet, i have to grow much stronger so i can be a positive example promoting veganism with all its advantages. :)

Welcome!

All of the Americans on here are going to have to start learning how to speak German, or at least the metric system :)
