Also a boxer and marathon runner. I'm also a veterinarian. Recently, I won PETA's Sexiest Vegetarian over 50 contest. Part of my goal is to introduce people to the fact that a vegan diet keeps you healthier, more fit, and more youthful longer than a carnist diet. I will be writing a column for PETA's newsletter on a regular basis that will contain animal rights oriented veterinary issues, but I will also touch on fitness issues and would welcome input from fellow vegans.
