MontanaVegan Posted May 7, 2006 Share Posted May 7, 2006 Hi, my name is Jason, I'm from Billings Montana.I'm 42 years old, been lurking around the boards for a couple months.There is so much good information here.The people here seem very friendly and helpful.I don't think that I've read a harsh post yet. My weight and elevated cholesterol and BP got me interested in a healthy lifestyle.I had the Standard American Diet, on my way to a heart attack.I started walking 4 miles per day about a year ago.2 months ago, I started lifting weights. I've been striving for vegan since December 2005.2-3 times per month I find myself eating something that I shouldn'tEither from a craving or I find myself on the road and hungry.I would like to be as close to raw vegan as possible. My health and fitness knowledge is much behind most of the poeple here.But I may be able to help with computer related questions.I'm not a full fledged computer geek, just knowledgable in a variety of applications. There are many people in the group who are interested in raw veganism and some of them are raw vegan athletes. I hope you enjoy your time on the forum and learn lots of information.
