Hello! I've been lurking and learning for a bit...so glad to have found this site, you guys are amazing!
I'll keep this short and sweet. Saw Forks Over Knives and read a lot of books, the best for me being Eat to Live, never looked back.
The last six months have changed (and probably saved) my life:
- Lost 17 lbs
- Resting HR from 100 to 60s
- Allergies Gone
- Insomnia Gone
- My cardio went from nonexistent to INSANE
I absolutely HATE putting a before photo out there (yuck!) but it's the only way to explain how excited and happy I am about the changes so far. I'm about 1/2 way to my goal...six months from now I want to look like

) I've competed in bodybuilding in the past (at age 35 and 39). Now at 49 I'm lifting heavy and killing the cardio, and FINALLY have a diet that nourishes my body while getting rid of fat. I'm VERY excited to see what the next six months will bring.
