Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness

Hi all -

Been on a plant based diet for the last 5 months. I've lost 38 pounds! Most noticable was that my joint pain went away. I'm 45 and have pretty bad arthritis in my right knee. I was taking either Alieve, Motrin or asprin almost daily. My blood pressure was 140/90 with BP meds. Now I have removed the NSAIDs (except for an asprin now and then) and my blood pressure is 129/72 with only a half dose of the BP meds! The main benefit is how incredible I feel. Strength and stamina are back like when I was in my 20's. VB is an incredible site.

Welcome and congrats!!!

I read something the other day that mentioned that potatoes and other dark rooted veges make arthritis worse. If you eat lots of them, it could be something to look into
