JimVegan
Hi there. I've been vegan since I turned 30...now 48. I started going to the gym a year ago...swimming and weight lifting. I'm now swimming Mon, Wed, and Fridays. Weight lifting Tu, Th, and Sundays. I exercised when I was in my 20's, but didn't do much of anything until a few years ago when I started walking a lot. I don't walk so much anymore since I swim and lift so frequently - and I use a stand-up desk at work (standing about 1/2 the day). I feel great, but often feel like I'm pushing myself hard. Seeing more muscle and tone in upper body...not so much elsewhere, but that's 'cause I haven't focused as much on mid and legs. Great to be here, and I look forward to chatting. C.O.
Hi Jim, welcome to the forum. Question about getting into swimming. Did you swim before getting into a regular routine with it. I know how to swim but dont really do it at the gym much. Did you take lessons as an adult or just get in and do it regularly and got better through practice? -Dylan
