My name is Danny Stravers. I've been a devout vegan since I first educated myself on the suffering of animals in the meat/dairy industry at the age of 14. ). I've constantly challenged my mind and musical skills my whole life, and I've decided it is time to bring that mindset to the reconstruction of my body.
I am 125 lbs and 5 ft 11 tall. I am definitely looking to gain some mass, ideally 15-20 lbs, and my goal is to grow strength and become more in tune with my body so I can begin acrobatic/tandem yoga with my fiancé. I've begun some yoga stretching and strength training to start, but I need to start lifting weights (I presume, unless there are home workouts that will help me build!). I will be working out from home almost everyday, and hitting the gym 3-5 times a week.
Basically, the best way I can put it, is that my goal is to look like Spiderman rather than Wolverine, lol.
- What should me daily caloric intake be, and what foods do you recommend mostly on a day to day basis? (and remember, I'm a college student, so cheap meals are best )
- Does anybody have a recommended workout routine I could follow at the gym to gain strength and mass? Also,
- What home workouts should I do if I can't make it to the gym?
Any other recommendations or comments will be very much appreciated
I'm very exciting to meet some fellow vegans who can assist me in the jumpstarting of my newfound passion for physical fitness.
