Hello everyone!

So happy to have finally found a dedicated vegan bodybuilding forum! I am a Criminology student based in Kent, England but originally from London.

Desperately looking for advice. I am an amateur cyclist hoping to start racing soon so training very hard.

I am also wanting to bulk up and build some muscle; I have been following the general approach of bulking for this winter season with the intention to cutting later.

I have, however, been finding it very hard to keep up with a suitable calorie surplus (I am 65kg and 5" 7) while training for my cycling so doing heavy cardio sessions such as HIIT interval training while remaining within my vegan diet. If anyone has any advice about how to fit in more calories (or views on dirty bulking as opposed to clean bulking (obviously still within a vegan diet)) and also any ideas on the amount of calories I should be consuming when i'd be burning around 600-1600 calories on days which I cycle (3-4 times a week) and do weight training about 3 times a week also. It has got the point where I have to eat despite being totally full just to reach a minor surplus.

And also does anyone have any advice on how long I should bulk for before starting to cut?

Thanks very much in advance for any help!

J
