That skinny guy who lifts heavy

Recommended Posts

Thank you Robert for posting this question in another thread.

Do you keep an online training/blog journal?

The only progress that I've made in the last couple years is when I kept a good journal here.

In the last year I've started and stopped a few times.

As a result, no results for me.

Goal Number 1: Get Lean!

Goal Number 2: Get Strong!

If I get lazy again please yell at me, don't be nice either.

I don't have any goals right now to get big like those Vegan Brothers in Iron.

Health is my primary motivator.

I estimate that I would be about 160 pounds if I were lean.

So that is my goal weight, but it isn't set in stone, I'll know when I get there.

After I get lean, then I'll concentrate on strength.

My Diet:

Vegetables and fruit with some nuts and seeds.

Green smoothies, fresh juice made by me.

Lots of raw leafy greens everyday, at least a pound.

I don't like the raw vs cooked debate, but my diet will be mostly raw.

That's just the way I prefer most food.

There are some veggies that I prefer cooked, so that's how I eat them.

Today's Workout

40 minutes on the treadmill in the morning

40 minutes on the treadmill in the evening

I was thinking about you when I saw a vehicle with Montana license plates here in Canada.

Your journal is looking great Jason.

I can't wait to hear more about your progress and gains !

All the best to you

Thanks Dani, Tasha, Robert, and Courtney.

I was just talking to my brother Tuesday night about my trip to Vancouver/Portland.

The date hasn't been set yet, but most likely it will be sometime in August.

How do you cope with such little food? I'd be gnawing my arm off.

I just make sure to stay away from your blogspot.

I made the mistake of clicking on it. Everything looks so good.

I was actually thinking that I must have eaten something else too.

It didn't seem like much food for a whole day.

But I wasn't hungry so I didn't eat.

That smoothie did have a lot of calories, it had a couple scoops of PB

And I ate most of the watermelon.

I couldn't get close to the rind because it wasn't ripe yet.

The middle was good though.
